01What is e-stamping?
E-stamping is an electronic way of paying non-judicial stamp duty to the government. The issued certificate records the stamping particulars. Which instrument, amount and process apply must be checked for your specific document.

These are separate formalities. Paying stamp duty does not by itself complete registration or notarisation. Whether either is needed depends on the document and applicable requirements; discuss those steps separately before proceeding.
05How much will e-stamping cost?
The duty and applicable government charges depend on the instrument and its particulars. Ask for the current assessment and a breakdown of government charges and assistance fees before making a payment. We do not publish a one-size-fits-all rate.
06What should I check on the certificate?
Review the names, document description, amount and other applicable particulars before treating the file as complete. Retain the certificate's unique identification number and follow the official verification instructions. Raise a mismatch with the issuing centre rather than altering a certificate yourself.
